What is the best way to contact Tachnat?

Through our website, either via contact us or following general registration. We prefer e-mail communication; it is faster, efficient, most cost effective and environment friendly option. If you do not have access to a computer, you may facsimile or post us or contact us via telephone. Alternately, you may visit one of our regional offices if you so wish.

What is the preferred application method for migration or to work/study and live in Australia?

We prefer you to apply via our website and attach an electronic resume. If you don’t have access to a computer then facsimile or post is fine.

Should you not meet the minimum requirements for migration then we may not be able to help you. We will write and tell you if this is the case and advice you of options available, if any.

What happens if I am given incorrect or misleading information?
Tachnat (Australia) is bound by the Australian Consumer Law (ACL), which applies to all Australian businesses. It states “Businesses must not make false, misleading or deceptive claims about a product or service. All services must be delivered with care, skill and within a reasonable time.” Consumers are protected under the ACL and therefore are provided accurate information. Why should I choose a registered migration consultant/agent?
The Australian Department of Immigration and Citizenship’s (DIAC) recommendation to applicants considering to use an agent is to employ the services of a registered migration agent. A registered migration agent has undergone intensive training to gain deep understanding and knowledge of the Australian immigration law, regulations and practice. In Australia it is a requirement for all migration agents to be registered and display their MARA registration information. In order to be registered, they have to pass formal exams after their comprehensive training. They are required to adhere to a Code of Conduct and undertake ongoing professional development to maintain their Australian immigration knowledge. Overseas migration agents who are not registered with MARA are not accountable and are not required to adhere to Code of Conduct and best practice principles.
What is a migration agent’s role in getting my visa?

I want to apply for a skilled migration visa or work visa without an agent. Can I do that?
Using a registered migration agent is recommended although not a requirement. Many people under estimate the importance of providing the Department of Immigration and Citizenship (DIAC) with exact information it requires; resulting in delays and application rejections. DIAC requirements are stringent and accurate submissions are crucial in a favourable outcome. If an application does not meet all the requirements then it is rejected. Applicants lose time as well as money spent on application, assessment and test. Statistics suggest that over 40% of Visa applications fail when submitted with out the help of a registered agent. Engaging a registered agent to assist you with your application process increases the likelihood of Visa approval on your first application as Registered agents have appropriate training and experience in submitting applications. I am in Phillipines and my migration agent is in Australia. How will we communicate?
Thanks to the technological advance, applicants and Tachnat migration consultants are now able to communicate and stay in contact even on a daily basis through e-mails, Skype, Facebook, etc. Tachnat migration consultants are also available by phone, fax or in person when they visit your home country periodically to conduct seminars on migrating to Australia. We prefer email communication. This way of communication is widely used and preferred by Australian businesses and Government Departments. This will help you to integrate faster to the way of life and business in Australia.
Can I bring my spouse and children with me on my Visa?
In many cases, it is possible to include spouse and children in the main applicant’s Visa. However visa applications for spouse or families are more complex and require accurate documentation. Tachnat migration consultants are able to guide you in the requirements and assist in putting together your application so that your application is accurate.
My uncle in Darwin has offered me a job? Can I start working with him when I visit him in 2 months?
Although you are in a favourable situation with having a job offer and having a family member in Australia, you require an employer sponsored Visa to work with your Uncle. Employer sponsored visa has several requirements that your Uncle and an employer and you as an applicant must meet.
